Information stored on your device
PullWorth does not require an account. Matched vehicles, the one-free-analysis marker, saved pull plans, Pull Log entries and photos, representative-photo metadata, market quote caches, field-profile preferences, and yard-search defaults are stored locally on your device or in your browser.
Vehicle matching
When you decode a VIN, PullWorth sends the 17-character VIN over HTTPS to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Product Information Catalog, known as NHTSA vPIC. Smart no-VIN search requests vehicle makes and year-specific model choices from NHTSA, then sends the selected year, make, and model to verify the catalog match. Optional body, powertrain, and drive refinements remain on the device. Results may be cached locally for faster repeat use.
Representative vehicle photos
PullWorth sends the model year, make, model, and optional trim to Wikimedia Commons to find a representative photo. The selected image URL, source-page URL, attribution, and refresh time may be cached locally. A representative image may show a different color, trim, or body configuration.
Market checks
PullWorth creates vehicle-and-part-specific searches for completed sales and current marketplace listings. When you open a part, its vehicle year, make, model, optional trim, and description are sent to the PullWorth market endpoint. When a provider is connected, the endpoint returns aggregate prices and listing evidence; otherwise it returns an unavailable status and PullWorth keeps the modeled benchmark visibly separate. Successful quotes may be cached locally for six hours. Marketplace credentials remain on the server.
Subscriptions and purchases
PullWorth offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing. Apple or Google processes the transaction and payment method. PullWorth does not receive or store your payment-card number.
PullWorth uses RevenueCat to load subscription products, validate receipts, determine trial and entitlement status, restore purchases, and provide a subscription-management link. RevenueCat receives an automatically generated anonymous app user identifier and purchase-related information such as platform, product identifier, store, purchase and expiration dates, trial status, renewal status, and active entitlement.
PullWorth disables RevenueCat advertising-identifier collection and does not send RevenueCat your VINs, vehicle searches, field-profile text, pull plans, Pull Log entries or photos, precise location, or camera frames. Because PullWorth has no user account, restoration relies on the Apple or Google store account used for the purchase, and access is not promised to transfer between platforms.
Camera, photo library, and Pull Log
Camera access is requested when you choose the VIN scanner or choose to photograph a Pull Log item. VIN scanner frames are processed for barcode recognition and are not saved. Photos you deliberately capture for the Pull Log are copied into PullWorth's private on-device storage and linked to the journal entry. Photo-library access is requested only when you choose existing journal images. PullWorth does not upload Pull Log photos and does not request microphone access.
Yard search and location
PullWorth includes a compact U.S. yard directory derived from the Overture Maps Foundation Places release. The directory is downloaded from PullWorth and filtered in your browser by the search center and radius. It contains public business details such as name, location, address, category, and phone when available.
When you search by city or ZIP, PullWorth first sends the search text to the Photon geocoder and may use OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service as a fallback. PullWorth can cross-check directory results against OpenStreetMap and Overpass records. When you choose Use my location, PullWorth requests foreground location only for that search and does not request background location.
The in-app Yard Radar loads OpenStreetMap map tiles for the area you inspect. Map tile requests necessarily reveal the requested map area and ordinary network information such as IP address to the tile provider. PullWorth does not send your VIN, pull plan, or price results with a map request. Yard results stay inside PullWorth; marketplace and publisher links you choose to open are governed by the destination service's privacy policy.
No ads, analytics, or sale of data
PullWorth does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. RevenueCat is used only for subscription product and entitlement operations. Michai Media does not sell personal information collected through PullWorth and does not operate an account database that stores your VIN history, pull plans, Pull Log, photos, precise location, or field-profile preferences. A configured market endpoint processes part searches transiently and may use short-lived response caching.
Retention and deletion
On-device data, including Pull Log photos, remains until you clear PullWorth's app or browser storage or uninstall the app. PullWorth does not provide cloud backup for journal photos; keep originals elsewhere when they matter. Clearing data or uninstalling does not cancel a subscription. PullWorth has no server-side account to delete. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and other third-party services may retain transaction or request information under their own policies and legal obligations.
Children
PullWorth is a professional automotive utility and is not directed to children under 13.
Security and limitations
Network requests use HTTPS. No method of electronic processing is completely secure. PullWorth price ranges are modeled decision-support estimates and are not appraisals, offers, or guarantees.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the product or its service providers change. The effective date will be revised when a material update is published.
